A. Since the Delaware Hunter Safety Field Day consists of hands-on and live-fire exercises, ALL students must sign a liability release and send it to the office of hunter education (the office must receive the release by mail at least 7 days prior to the Field Day).
We strongly suggest you sign up for a Field Day and send in your signed waiver as soon as possible to avoid any delays in obtaining your hunter education certificate. Please note - for students under 18, the release must be signed by a parent or guardian and verified by a notary. You can access the liability release through the DNREC website.
