Before you take the online hunter safety course you must register for an Internet-Based Hunter Education Course with Colorado Parks and Wildlife (also called a Conclusion Course). To complete the hunter education requirements for Colorado, you must pass both the online AND classroom portions of the hunter education course.
Internet-Based Hunter Education Courses are conducted by CPW-certified hunter safety instructors, and are expected to last between 5 and 7 hours. Activities at the Internet-Based Hunter Education Course include different hands-on activities, and a multiple-choice final exam. As you participate in the conclusion class, always remember to follow the rules of hunting and firearm safety.

You must bring a copy of your course completion certificate and a piece of valid identification to your Internet-Based Hunter Education Course. Youth who do not have their own ID may have their parents or guardians show ID on their behalf.
