The traditional West Virginia Hunter Education Course is about 12 hours in length and is usually given over a number of weeknights and/or weekends. With the online hunter safety course, you can do all of the coursework from home. You will only need to take a Practical Exam in order to obtain your West Virginia Hunter Education Certificate.

In order to pass the online hunter safety course and get your Practical Exam Voucher, you must pass each chapter quiz with a grade of at least 80%.
If you have misplaced your card you can contact your local license agent; pick up an application for a duplicate card; complete it and mail it, along with a $10 check or money order, to one of the addresses listed on the application. You can get the application online at the www.wvdnr.gov link.
The Practical Exam Voucher is required to attend the West Virginia DNR Practical Exam. If you have lost your voucher, you can sign in to your exam center and print out a new copy.
