What do I need to pass the online Newfoundland and Labrador hunter education course?

You must study the course chapters, successfully complete, and pass each chapter quiz and a final exam with a grade of at least 80%. The online course has 12 chapters, and the final exam has 50 questions.

What if I fail a chapter quiz or the final exam?

A.

Students who score less than 80% on the chapter quiz will be able to review their answers and try the quiz again until successful. Students will get two (2) attempts at the final exam to score 80% or greater. If a student fails on the second attempt, they will need to re-take the course by studying the chapter content, taking the quizzes, and taking the final exam again. There is no extra fee for this.

What is the Hunter Education Partial Completion Document?

A.

Upon passing the final exam, you will be issued a Partial Completion Document. This document is your personal record of successfully completing the online Newfoundland and Labrador Hunter Education Course. This is not a certification document allowing you to go hunting or purchase a licence.
