1. Obtain a Wisconsin DNR Customer ID Number

• All WI Recreation Safety Students are required to obtain a WI DNR ID Number prior to or at the Field Day
• Call the Customer Service Number available 7am-10pm daily
• 1-888-936-7463

2. Locate and sign up for a Field Day in your area

• Before you start the online course, make sure there is a Field Day coming up in your area
• Pre-registration is required for the Field Day
• You must complete the online course before attending the Field Day
• Schedule of upcoming Field Days (Choose the Option: HUNTER ED CD/INTERNET)

3. Take the online hunter safety course

• Free hunter safety study guide
• Fully narrated and interactive
• Visual aids in every exam question
• Log in and out at any time - we keep track of your progress

4. Purchase your Field Day Voucher and attend the Field Day

• Cost: $24.95 - collected after you have passed the online course
• Admission ticket into the WI DNR Hunter Safety Field Day
