A. The Alabama Hunter Safety Course Completion Voucher is issued once you have completed the Alabama Online Hunter Safety Course.
A. The traditional Alabama Hunter Education Course is about 10 hours in length and is usually given over a number of weeknights and/or weekends. With the online hunter safety course, you can do all of the course work from home and you do not need to attend a field day – commencing September 1, 2013.
A. Depending on your age, you may require a hunter education certificate in order to purchase an Alabama Hunting License. For more information you can check out the Alabama Hunting Laws and Hunter Education Requirements Page.
A. The Alabama Hunter Safety Course can be completed in 4 Steps:
A. The online hunter safety course is available to anyone at any time.
A. In order to pass the online hunter safety course and get your Course Completion Voucher, you must pass each chapter quiz and final exam with a grade of at least 80%.
A. The one-time course fee is $29.00.
A. Contrary to popular belief, hunting is one of the safest sports around. This is mainly due to the fact that most hunters take gun safety and hunting safety very seriously. Careless or reckless behavior while hunting can lead to serious injury to one self or to innocent bystanders. This is why Alabama requires most hunters to take hunter education courses, and to follow the 10 rules of firearm safety at all times when hunting.
A. If you have already received an Alabama Hunter Education Certificate and need a replacement certificate, you can get a replacement card online through the Alabama DCNR at huntered.dcnr.alabama.gov.
A. The HUNTERcourse.com Certificate of Completion Voucher is proof that you completed the online Alabama Hunter Education Course. If you have lost your Completion Voucher you can sign in to your exam center and print out a new copy. You can also contact HUNTERcourse.com at 1-866-495-4868 or e-mail [email protected] and we will send you a copy of your voucher.
A. You can take the online course at any time, day or night. However, courses must be completed within 90 days of payment at which time your access to the course will expire.
