Note: You must hold a valid Nova Scotia Wildlife Resources Card (WRC) to register for the course.
To take the Nova Scotia online crossbow course:
- Register with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources (DNR)
Use your WRC number to sign up for the online crossbow course.
- Pay for your course
After registering, you will be returned to HUNTERcourse.com. Confirm your information and pay for the online course. $29.95 + HST
- Complete the online crossbow course
Successfully complete the 5-chapter online course. You are now ready to hunt.
- Update your Wildlife Resources Card (optional)
You may contact the DNR to issue you a new card showing your crossbow certification at a cost of $7.14 + HST. This is not required. Your DNR record will reflect your certification as soon as you successfully complete the course.
